Jon's vast experiences stem from a rural Vermont upbringing, where he was taught that it was better to fix something yourself than replace it; he was instilled with a problem-solving mind and attention to detail. This makes him a veracious entrepreneur and CEO. Having the drive to work from a young age, he had the chance to try his hand at many things before being led to the culinary industry, where he let his creativity flow uninhibited, honed his communication skills under pressure, and mastered team management. This career allowed him to work with some of the country's top chefs and run several successful restaurants. When he left the culinary industry, he was set on a path of engineering, something his problem-solving mind was craving. He excelled in these programs, holding the dean's list every semester through the college experience. Taking a job in the engineering field, he excelled, surpassing several of his trainers and rising through positions at an alarming rate. Deep inside though, he had a burning entrepreneur and ultimately let it lose when he was 36 by starting On Spot Solutions.
My ultimate mission is to inspire a health and wellness trend within the restaurant industry, this is why I started Kanned Heat Kitchen. I am also dedicated to empowering inner-city youth to discover their passions and provide the resources necessary to turn those passions into reality. I am also deeply committed to supporting veterans who are facing homelessness. I have a profound desire to create lasting change. Rooted in compassion and a relentless commitment to progress, my work reflects my dedication to addressing meaningful challenges and inspiring others to pursue their dreams.
I am passionate about outdoor activities, including swimming, scuba diving, fishing, boating, hiking, and camping. I find tranquility and inspiration in nature, and I value sharing these experiences with family and friends. Additionally, I enjoy playing guitar and cooking elaborate experiences for those I care about.
